As exciting and interesting as some flower combinations can be, I will forever love roses…no need for fillers or fluff…

Anyone else love monobotanical bouquets of roses? Some people tell me they don’t like roses because they’re overused…I think they’re just overcombined (I just made up a word!) with other flowers…sometimes beauty is in simplicity…
Happy Wednesday…in a few hours!

I love roses, but I grew up around them. Perhaps that makes me better appreciate their complexity and differences. I still find it difficult to believe that a person would say they "dislike all roses" because there are so many types and textures and colors.
that second to last picture is the only time I've liked the petals flipped back...probably has to do with the color. I think you are completely right about the "overcombined" thing. What's not to love?
That Floral Artistry photo took my breath away and I am definitely from the camp that doesn't love roses. I like them, but they aren't at the top of my list. But those ruffled petals won me over today!
